In September 2016, it was announced that NBC Comcast Universal was purchasing then WTMU-LP to move it to
the Cedar St tower and have it become the primary signal for NBC Boston. The signal signed on shortly after.
In December, NBC Boston also lit up on a sub channel of WMFP.  Below are pictures of the current install.
