WHNX-LP's license was cancelled by the FCC in 2015. They did appear to have built this facility on East Rock.
There is very little information about this station on the internet. A CDBS record search shows the convoluted history.

On East Rock is the long time tower of WEDY. No longer used by WEDY. It also had now defunct WHNX-LP, see above.
